Operating out of Baby Steps Health Centre, Perth Kids Physio specialises in paediatric physiotherapy services for babies and children of all ages and abilities with a focus on early intervention. We offer a wide range of services to help children achieve their full potential and live their best lives.
Perth Kids Physio accepts private and NDIS (self and plan managed) clients.
Medicare rebate and Private Health Insurance available.
ASSESSMENT
Our initial assessment involves a thorough evaluation of your child's medical and developmental history, physical abilities, and developmental needs. Based on our findings, we will work with you to develop a customised treatment plan that addresses your child's individual goals and challenges.
REPORTS
Following your child’s initial assessment, a comprehensive report detailing your child’s history, assessment outcomes/findings, evaluation/summary, goals and treatment plan is available.
PARENT/CARER EDUCATION AND SUPPORT
We believe in empowering parents and carers to play an active role in their child's therapy. That's why we provide education on how to promote your child's physical development and provide support and resources for any questions or concerns you may have along the way.
INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT SESSIONS
We understand that every child is unique, and we work closely with families to create personalised treatment plans that address a child’s specific needs and goals.
Our treatment sessions are designed to be engaging and fun, using play-based activities and exercises to assist your child develop their movement, strength, coordination, balance and more.
HOME EXERCISE PROGRAMS
In addition to exercises/activities given following a treatment session, a comprehensive home exercise program individually tailored to your child's needs can be provided. Consistency is important to achieving goals and we will ensure we provide guidance and adjustment to the program as required.
COLLABORATION
We work closely with other healthcare professionals involved in your child's care to ensure a collaborative approach to treatment. We are also available to provide consultation services to mother’s groups, daycares, schools and other organisations to promote healthy development in children.

BABIES & TODDLERS
Plagiocephaly (flattening of the skull)
Infant torticollis (tightening/restriction of the muscles and movement of the neck)
Premature infants
Babies and toddlers presenting with diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy or Down Syndrome
Orthopaedic concerns (positional talipes, developmental dysplasia of the hip)
Delayed gross motor milestones (rolling, sitting, crawling, walking)
CHILDREN
Hypermobility
Clumsiness, poor balance, poor coordination
Poor muscle strength and endurance
Concerns with gait (toe walking, in-toeing, knocked knees)
Issues with gross motor skills (running, jumping, hopping, skipping, catching, throwing, kicking)
